Cameron, Joe and the team at Handy want to ensure we provide the best vehicle for your project. With a wide selection of vehicles for our moving services in Wellington, we can provide different solutions to fit any task at hand.
The convenient city fringe location, right at the corner of Hutt Rd and Kaiwharawhara Rd, and efficient systems ensure you will be onto your project as quickly as possible from the time you arrive to pick up the vehicle.
Our team will always do their best to be as flexible as possible to meet all reasonable requests, including early pickups and late drop-offs.

Handy requires a full valid NZ, International or approved overseas driver’s licence to rent a vehicle. A full Car Drivers Licence is all that is required for most Handy vehicles
Driving a truck can be different to a car because its bigger, however all of the features work exactly the same. Please see Ensuring a Safe Trip for safety tips you should follow.
Yes all of our vans and trucks are automatic.
You are required to be at least 21 years old on a full car license to drive our vehicles.
In the unlikely event you encounter an emergency, you can call for 24 Hour Emergency Roadside Assistance, if the vehicle is not in a safe spot to do so, call the emergency services on 111 right away.
Simply call us in advance and we’ll make every effort to accommodate your needs, however your proffered vehicle or date may not always be available, so do this as soon as you can.
