Our Large cargo van for rent has roughly 9-10 cubic metres of internal cargo space it is a long wheel base and high top and can accommodate your average 1 bedroom home. They are the biggest of our vans and are a good alternative if you don’t fancy a small truck. They can carry a lot of items and are great for a wide range of bigger jobs perfect for moving house. All our vans come fitted with reversing cameras, have modern stereos and have an automatic option. Most vans will sit 3 passengers, are just like driving a car and no special license is required to hire.
This large cargo van is for hire and is perfect for moving a 1 bedroom flat or for excess large freight deliveries. Renting this cargo van will make any small move an absolute breeze. It has the benefit of being really easy to drive and operate just like a car!

Handy requires a full valid NZ, International or approved overseas driver’s licence to rent a vehicle. A full Car Drivers Licence is all that is required for most Handy vehicles
Driving a truck can be different to a car because its bigger, however all of the features work exactly the same. Please see Ensuring a Safe Trip for safety tips you should follow.
Yes all of our vans and trucks are automatic.
You are required to be at least 21 years old on a full car license to drive our vehicles.
In the unlikely event you encounter an emergency, you can call for 24 Hour Emergency Roadside Assistance, if the vehicle is not in a safe spot to do so, call the emergency services on 111 right away.
Simply call us in advance and we’ll make every effort to accommodate your needs, however your proffered vehicle or date may not always be available, so do this as soon as you can.

Standard insurance is included in the cost of the hire. Vehicles are covered by full comprehensive insurance with an excess payable. This excess may be reduced with an additional payment.
