Does Handy Rentals do Work and Income/Ministry of Social Development Quotes?
Yes, we do provide quotes for WINZ/MSD but there is a slightly different process that must be followed to ensure that you are quoted correctly, with the right kilometer option and bond selected.
The process is quite simple, if you wish to get a quote for WINZ this is the process that is followed:
- If you get a quote online, you will need to first phone us before we can confirm it as we need to check that everything is correct.
- If you call us for a quote we will give you all the information you need, you must state to the Handy team that it is for a WINZ quote so we can provide the correct information.
- WINZ Quotes must have a 0 excess, ($60/day to reduce excess to $0)
- A $500 Bond is required for any WINZ customers in case of fuel needing to be replaced or extra distance traveled.
- You must tell us where you are going so we can pre calculate the kilometers and quote for that, so no one is getting a shock at the end of the hire.
- Quotes for WINZ have to be done at least 24 hours before the hire, we cannot do quotes on the same day.
- Payment will either be made by direct deposit or via green payment card through our machine
- Bond refunds will be sent directly back to you using a debt or credit card.
- ALL QUOTES ARE JUST QUOTES, NOT A BOOKING, NO VEHICLES WILL BE HELD FOR A QUOTE. Vehicle hire is subject to availability.
- Get a quote from us, via phone is the easiest way to get a winz quote, however you can do it online following our process
- Ensure you tell us where you are going so we can calculate your kilometers
- Confirm the quote with WINZ, get your case manager to get in touch with Handy to confirm the payment and booking.
- We will confirm it on our end and send a confirmation email
- On the day of hire come in with your payment card (if done that way) and your license.
